Because of your commitment to the Blues Society of Oklahoma, we raised $2,700 at our WinterFest Fundraiser! This will go along way towards fulfilling out goal to support this year’s Dust Bowl Blues Bash, music scholarships, and our Blues In The Schools program!

Well, it’s simple. There was an unfulfilled need for a
Blues Society, and we’re trying to fix that.

Our main goal is to elevate your musical blues journey through a deeper appreciation of the music we love. Of course we’re talking about the blues.
Monthly Meetings & Blues Jams
Join us for our monthly blues jams. All levels of musicianship are welcome! EVERYONE get’s a chance to hop up on stage for at least 3 songs. The only requirement is that anything that you play MUST be the blues.
Connect with the Community
Don’t miss our monthly gatherings, workshops, and open mic nights to share your passion. It’s also your chance to discover new talent, network with other blues fans, and blue musicians.
The Blues Society of Oklahoma has a number of initiatives that are part of it’s charter.
- Provide a location and environment for blues fans and musicians to enjoy the music.
- Provide opportunities for monthly or bi-weekly blues jams, education session, workshop, etc. These are open to ALL blues musicians for all experience and abilities.
- Provide an education resource and outreach in the schools. Blues musicians are dying out and its important to foster and nurture the next generation.
- Partner with surrounding area blues societies and blues festivals.
- Host an OKC Blues Challenge.
